Turquoise Trail is a 2 strand necklace that combines Turquoise, Black Spinel and a Spider Web Turquoise drop. I added some Copper flower spacer beads and a Copper toggle clasp to finish it. It’s short strnad is 16 1/2 inches long and the longer one is 18 1/2 inches long.

It is said that those who wear Turquoise gain the Wisdom on the Ancient Ones! It also helps you to live “in the moment”, improves your self confidence, helps you to relax, aids with self expression and communication and clears negativity. It also happens to be December’s birthstone!

I learned that “Black spinel is often regarded as a protective gemstone that repels negativity while at the same time triggers empowerment and inspiration to its bearer. There is also a popular belief that this stone can heal the entire body as a whole.”

Copper has long been considered a helpful aid with the circulatory system. Many have used it to help treat systems of arthritis.

I created this piece based on the colors and shapes of the Spider Web Turquoise drop, and it’s an ode to one of my favorite roads in the US, the Turquoise Trail.
