Autumn Blaze Ash Tree, 3 strand necklace

$112.95

Autumn Blaze Ash Tree is a 3 strand necklace totally inspired by my next door neighbor's gorgeous trees! Every October they burst into their fall colors with total abandon, and I am always awestruck! I used Autumn Jasper 4 and 6 mm round beads, 2 faceted Peridot beads, some rough faceted Red Malay Jade, gorgeous Unakite discs and Vesuvianite rondelles. It's finished with Delica Glass spacer beads and a Silver filled round toggle clasp. The shortest strand is 17 inches long and the longest one is 20 1/3 inches long.

I'm always inspired by the colors of fall, but somehow, this year seems more profound!

firemountaingems.com says, "Jasper, an opaque chalcedony, comes in a wide variety of colors, each with unique patterning. Autumn Jasper is the variety of jasper known for its mottled warm brick red and avocado green appearance. The term "jasper" itself comes from the Greek work iaspi, which means "spotted stone." Jasper in general has been a gemstone used all over the world, worn by ancient Egyptian priests and carved as seals by the Minoans. While jasper is more widely available today, jasper was once considered a valuable stone.

Jasper is considered a powerful healing stone. Autumn Jasper helps us move beyond just surviving to making us glad to be alive. Imagine pumpkins, red maple leaves and a long leisurely walk through the country that helps you kick back and relax. The heat of summer is over and the evenings are just cool enough to light a fire in the woodstove or fireplace. Life is good. Somehow you'd forgotten. That's what Autumn Jasper reminds us of whenever we wear it. Autumn Jasper helps to ground and center the wearer, providing support while inspiring tranquility. Personal and environmental negative energy is dispelled, helping the individual reconnect with the Earth."

"Peridot, the birthstone for the month of August, is also given in celebration of the 16th year of marriage. Known as the stone of compassion, Peridot is believed to bring good health, restful sleep and peace to relationships by balancing emotions and mind. This friendly bright green stone also has the uncanny ability to inspire eloquence and creativity; it also brings delight and good cheer. It attracts love and calms anger by giving renewal to all things.

The epic metaphysical powers that Peridot possesses have been written about much throughout the ages. Legend says that if the gem is set in gold, the stone will develop its full potential as a talisman and will have the power to eradicate terrors of the night such as fearsome visions and nightmares.

... The stone’s ability to glow like a hot coal under lamplight at night helps chase away foreboding night visions. Peridot has been long considered a powerful aid to repairing and maintaining friendship and, supposedly, it frees the mind of envious thoughts that can damage and strain relationships. It has also been used to protect believers from the evil eye."

"Unakite is said to be a stone of vision, opening the third eye and useful for scrying. It is also believed to be a stone of balance, grounding the self while bringing emotions and spirituality together.

Among crystal healing practitioners, Unakite is used to support convalescence from illness. It is also believed to affect the reproductive system, healthy pregnancy and the growth of skin and hair.

Unakite is associated with two chakras: to the third eye chakra for its use in vision and scrying and to the heart chakra for its ability to balance emotions. It is not a current birthstone, but it has been historically assigned to March. It is also thought to offer patience and balance to Capricorn and Scorpio."

"Vesuvianite is believed to be connected to the heart chakra. This stone has been used to help release pent up anger in a gentle way that helps an individual find balance in their emotions. According to metaphysical beliefs, Vesuvianite helps not only level out emotions, but can help us think level-headed by clearing negative or repetitive thoughts. Vesuvianite has been used as a gift to newlyweds due to its connotations as a cooperative stone that facilitates awareness of one's heart and an ability to express love. Though Vesuvianite is not an actual birthstone, the gem is associated with the zodiac signs of Sagittarius and Capricorn."

As per dwsjewellery.com, "Red Jade Healing Properties can gift you a strong body and a divine mind as it works on both your physical and spiritual being. To start with, this stone can cleanse your body by working on those organs involved in the elimination and filtration of toxins."

This lovely necklace that celebrates Autumn is potentially also a very powerful healing necklace!
