Watching the sunsets has always been one of my favorite things to do! Some days are remarkable, some are alright, and some are worthy of paintings or necklaces! This one, Sunday Sunset, was inspired by a gorgeous pale blue, bright orange, turquoise to black sunset that I watched happen from my window! Remarkable, for sure.

Sunday Sunset has Apatite, Carnelian, Iolite, Turquoise and a Sterling Silver toggle clasp to finish it. The short strand is 17.5 inches long, and the long strand, not including the Turquoise drop, is 20 inches long.

Turquoise is December's birthstone, and one of my favorite semi precious gemstones to work with, and to wear! It's said that those who wear Turquoise can receive the wisdom of the Ancient Ones. Turquoise is considered a great stone for overall healing, and is also a stone that helps us to stay calm and "grounded". It encourages self-confidence and helps us to stay in the moment so we don't get anxious or negative.

Apatite is thought to increase our motivation, helps us find our most humanitarian attitude to serve others, improves our overall energy and aids with communications. It can improve and deepen meditation which will also impact our spirituality.

Carnelian helps to purify our blood and our kidneys while it also, according to charmsoflight.com, "Carnelian treats lower back problems, rheumatism, arthritis, neuralgia and depression. It regulates the kidneys, and accelerates healing in bones and ligaments. Improves vitamin and mineral absorption and ensures good blood supply to organs and tissues."
