I was reminiscing about the magical years that our family spent living near the Ocean and then looking at pictures of many different large bodies of water. That brought me to this creation, "Oceans". It's a 3 strand Apatite and Turquoise necklace with a Sterling Silver toggle clasp. I used blue-green Apatite Rondelles and light blue Apatite tiny round beads. I added the Tuquoise Rondells both for contrast, and to really bring home the varied colors of the ocean waters I love.

I've done lots of research on stones, and I learned this. Turquoise is thought to bring the "wisdom on the ancient ones to those who wear it". It's the birthstone for December, but it's a stone worn all over the world by all ages and backgrounds.
