SOLD!!! “Black Mountain” is a 2 strand Turquoise Nugget, Black Obsidian, Black Spinel and Delica Glass spacer bead necklace. I finished it with a silver filled toggle clasp. This piece is an ode to my old “stompin’ ground” of Western North Carolina! The drop inspired the necklace and it’s name! Elusive Turquoise spots within the black background reminded me of those beautiful Smoky Mountain neighborhoods at night.

The shorter strand is 18 1/4 inches long and the longer one is 20 inches long not including the drop.

Turquoise is the birthstone for December, and has long been a treasured stone around the world. It’s said that the Wisdom of the Ancient Ones comes to those who wear Turquoise!

I love the contrast between the smooth Black Obsidian ovals and the rough Turquoise nuggets, and the colors are lovely together! Great on any skin tone, and a perfect year round necklace.
