This is the second necklace celebrating the beach in Hawaii! Using the same photograph but focusing on the water's edge and the beach, I created "Water's Edge", a 3 strand necklace. I used 1 Aquamarine in the center of the short strand with 2 oval Lapis beads on either side. The short strand is mainly round Iolite beads. The center strand is Blue Chalcedony chips and the longest strand is Dream and Picture Jasper. It's finished with Delica Glass spacer beads and a Silver filled toggle clasp.

The short strand is 17 inches and the longest is 19 1/2 inches.

I wanted to create a feeling of the water gently splashing up onto the sandy beach. After doing some research, I learned from charmsoflight.com "Iolite is a vision stone.
