A good friend of mine sent me some photos of Red Foxes and I was inspired to create this necklace, Red Fox in Snow! The beautiful colors and personality of the foxes informed my bead choices so I used Black Agate round beads, Black Spinel "coins", Carnelian flat ovals, Rainbow Moonstone "coins" and discs, a Solar Quartz drop, Sunstone facets and round Tourmalinated Quartz. It's finished with Delica Glass spacer beads and a Sterling Silver toggle clasp. The shortest strand is 16 1/3 inches and the longest, without the drop, is 19 1/2 inches long.

The fall colors really make me think of Halloween, pumpkin pie and Thanksgiving, but truly I wanted to celebrate the Red Fox.
