October and February is a 2 strand necklace featuring faceted Amethyst semi-round beads and light Amethyst rondelles and South American Opal faceted rondelles. Opals are October's birthstone and Amethyst is February's birthstone. I was inspired by the lavender to purple colors in the center Opal beads that I found to be unusual and lovely! They paired well with the Amethyst and I like combining both dark and light Amethyst. The ends are finished with Delica Glass spacer beads and a Sterling Silver hook and eye clasp.

The short strand is 17 inches long and the longer Opal and Amethyst strand is 18 1/4 inches long.
