Marigolds in a Terracotta Pot. 3 strands of Green Quartz, Olive Chrysoprase, Red Jasper and Spessartite Garnet

$179.95

Marigolds in a Terracotta Pot is my beaded "portrait" of my big pot of volunteer Marigolds! I was sitting in a chair having lunch with the side door open and I noticed the reflection of the pot of Marigolds in the door, but the curtain made it look like a painting! I was inspired. I used Green Quartz faceted round 2mm beads, Olive Chrysoprase discs, Red Jasper faceted graduated rondelles and Spessartite Garnet faceted 2mm rondelles. There are Delica glass spacers and a Silver filled flower slide and lock clasp at the ends. The short strand is 17 1/4 inches and the longest one is 20 1/2 inches.

According to thecrystalcouncil.com, "Spessartine Garnet adds strength and confidence to one's everyday life by activating the lower 3 chakras and creating a meaningful connection between them. This channel allows you the ability to directly correspond with your second brain, also known as your gut intuition. The most intellectual part of your body happens to lie directly between the second and third chakra, as this area is the true controller of your universal direction. This energetic point is capable of manifesting one's dreams into the physical realm and creating the atmosphere needed for growth, nourishment, and self-love."

firemountaingems.com says, "Green quartz, also known as prasiolite, vermarine or lime citrine, is a macrocrystalline variety of the mineral quartz and is a rare stone in nature. This stone has been mistakenly referred to as "green amethyst" in the past, but the Federal Trade Commission of the United States has stated that is misleading, unfair and deceptive, and sellers who use this name could face legal action.

Green quartz is associated with the heart chakra and is thought to awaken love, empathy, compassion and increase connections with others. This stone helps people look on the bright side of things, turning negative energy into positive energy.

Green quartz can help bring peace and understanding in relationships and allows the wearer to approach stressful situations with patience and grace. Green quartz stimulates creativity and is believed to reduce anxiety, encourage financial success and support healthy recovery after illness or surgery."

"Chrysoprase is one of the birthstones for May and has traditionally symbolized happiness, enterprise and prudence. It is a powerful stone that brings good fortune and prosperity. Chrysoprase properties include instilling you with poise and grace and helping you to recognize the gentle beauty within yourself so you can enjoy self-expression and courage through fluent speech and mental dexterity.

Mentally, chrysoprase encourages non-judgmental attitudes, can reduce superiority and inferiority complexes and can help you avoid speaking out unthinkingly in anger. It bolsters clarity of thought and creativity by attracting abundance and success in new ventures and promotes fidelity within business.

Emotionally, chrysoprase is said to help heal a broken heart by providing a gentle boost to your self-esteem, equalizing emotional balance and fostering acceptance of change and tolerance for others."

"Jasper is an opaque chalcedony that comes in a wide variety of colors. The term "jasper" itself comes from the Greek work iaspi, meaning "spotted stone." Unlike most jasper, which is a heavily banded variety of chalcedony, brick red jasper is almost one pure color. Jasper is a gemstone that has been used all over the world, and it has often been revered as sacred. According to Norse legend, the magic sword of Siegfried the dragon slayer was inlaid with this gemstone. Egyptians believed the stone to be associated with Isis, and it was carved into amulets for the dead. There is also speculation it was actually red jasper (not ruby) that adorned the sacred breastplate of Aaron.

Jasper, in all its forms, is considered a powerful healing stone. Jasper is regarded as a gemstone that gives a sense of well-being, intensifying that feeling. Red jasper meaning has been associated with protection for thousands of years. It is believed this jasper has an ability to create and help balance aggressive, dynamic energy. Red jasper was used to staunch wounds and increase fertility. Red jasper meaning is linked to the root chakra."

There is so much fascinating information about these gemstones! These summer into autumn colors will be fun to wear all year long.
