Fall Maples With Snow. 3 strand necklace with Multi Moonstones, Red Agate and Shell beads

$97.95

I received some gorgeous photos of the fall colors! The Maple leaves were stunning. I created this Fall Maples With Snow 3 strand necklace inspired by those photos! I used Multi colored Moonstone facets and Rainbow Moonstone discs, Red Agate rounds and white Shell round beads. The ends have Delica Glass spacer beads and a Silver Filled brass slide and lock clasp. The short strand is 17 inches and the longest one is 20 1/2 inches.

I love autumn colors and this is my newest addition to the Autumn Collection! I can see some snow on the top of the mountains here so I combined those images for this necklace! firemountaingems.com says, "Named for its sheen, moonstone is the most well-known gemstone of the feldspar group. Loved by the ancient Greeks and Romans (who thought it was solidified moonlight), it was the gemstone to offer to lunar goddesses like Selene, Luna and Artemis.

Multicolored moonstone is a medley of shimmering peach, cream and silver. The scientific term for the kind of shimmer—amoving floating light or sheen—that gives this stone its magical look is schiller or adularescence. It comes from two typesof feldspar growing into or weaving through each other as the crystal forms. Of course, when you're wearing moonstone, those scientific things don't matter. You just revel in that lovely shimmer.

Moonstone meaning, by its very name, has been connected to the moon and to the subconscious and unconscious. It is believed to encourage lucid dreaming and promote emotional openness to new experience. This openness is part of how moonstone is thought to relieve stress—by calming the mind and soothing the spirit. Gem therapists and Ayurvedic doctors even use a specific form of moonstone (called godanti) to cure anxiety and strengthen the will. Moonstone meaning is also linked to new beginnings, boosting intuition, and gently easing stress while fostering a sense of inner peace.

Moonstone is a multi-use material, affiliated by color with a range of chakras | New Window: peaches to the sacral for reproductive health, whites to the crown chakra for spiritual or psychic experiences, greys to the heart for emotional changes. Women are sometimes recommended to remove moonstone during the full moon.

This gem is an alternate birthstone | New Window for June, popular with Geminis and Cancers. It is considered a birthstone | New Window for June in Tibetan lore and for September in Ayurvedic healing."

"Moonstone has translucent white color with a white sheen similar to "moonshine" that rolls or flows over the stone when rotated, hence the name "moonstone." The sheen is caused by light diffraction within layers of feldspar. Generally a creamy translucent white stone, rainbow moonstone features occasional iridescent or multicolored (especially blue) flashes with transparency that ranges from opaque to semitranslucent. Rainbow moonstone is best seen in natural light for play of color .

Moonstone has been used in jewelry going back to ancient civilizations. The Romans believed moonstone was born from solidified rays of the moon. The Greeks and the Romans associated moonstone with their lunar gods. During the Art Nouveau period in the early 20th century, moonstone became popular with artists and goldsmiths for creating jewelry."

"Red agate has a rich history spanning cultures and centuries. The ancient Babylonians used it for seals and amulets, valuing its durability and symbolic power. In ancient Greece and Rome, red agate was prized not only for its beauty but also for its believed healing properties. Chinese culture associated red agate, which they call Nanhong, with good fortune, harmony and balance, often carving the stone with symbols of blessings and happiness for use in jewelry and art. In ancient Egypt, red agate adorned armor and weapons, as it was believed to offer protection in battle. This versatile gemstone remains cherished for its vibrant hues and meaningful heritage.

Red agate is a powerful stone associated with courage, strength and protection, symbolizing perseverance and resilience. Red agate meaning is thought to embody a "carpe diem" spirit, inspiring passion, enthusiasm and confidence. Known for fostering emotional balance, red agate is said to provide a sense of security and calm while encouraging forgiveness and compassion. It is also believed to support blood circulation and overall health, making it a stone of healing and vitality. The stone's different shades carry unique meanings: darker reds represent passion, strength and courage, while orange-red agate meaning includes warmth, balance and creativity. Red agate offers a blend of bold energy and grounding harmony, making it both inspiring and versatile."

"Mother-of-pearl shell for jewelry refers to the nacre that coats the inside layer of the mollusk shell which is used to form pearls—hence, it's the mother of the pearl. Mother-of-pearl shell jewelry can include much larger focal pieces than simple pearls, since nacre substance takes up a whole shell's interior, offering a larger working surface for carving. In addition to jewelry, mother-of-pearl shell has been used in medieval European, East Asian and Islamic religious art. Starting during the Victorian Era, mother-of-pearl shell began to also be used for clock faces, buttons, jewelry boxes and more. One especially popular use was inlay work, such as the handles of knives and pistols, as well as historical and contemporary use as inlays for guitars and other musical instruments.

Mother-of-pearl shell jewelry is considered organic jewelry, yet it is not always renewable. Therefore, environmental concerns have led to some designers using only vintage mother-of-pearl shell or selecting shell rough by the ecological stability of the pearl or seafood farm from which it came.

Natural mother-of-pearl shell is said to have tremendous spiritual value for those whose high goals and attitudes keep them feeling stressed. Mother-of-pearl shell is commonly believed to attract prosperity, and mother-of-pearl shell meaning is often associated with mystical work and lore to heighten intuition, psychic sensitivity and imagination. It is believed that mother-of-pearl shell meaning is linked to soothing, motherly protection from negative energy and love. Due to this, mother-of-pearl shell is a recommended crystal healing gemstone for children.

Mother-of-pearl shell turns on the solar plexus chakra as well as the throat chakra."

Enjoy the fall colors all year long with this sweet necklace! It's a great gift too!
