firemountaingems.com says, ...Citrine's "name is derived from the Latin word citrina because of its pale yellow citrus color (due to its iron content). From the earliest times, citrine was called the "sun stone" and believed to hold sunlight, offering protection from snakebites. The stone’s golden hue linked it to wealth and prosperity, earning it the nickname merchant’s stone. To the Romans, it was associated with Mercury, the messenger god, and commonly used to carve intaglios.

Citrine meaning is often connected to joy, abundance, and positivity. This golden gemstone is known as the success stone, the merchant’s stone and the money stone—each name reflecting its reputation for attracting prosperity and uplifting energy. Citrine meaning also ties into its symbolism as the November birthstone and its association with the zodiac sign Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21). Believed to radiate sun-like warmth, Citrine is thought to brighten moods and inspire a more optimistic outlook.

This vibrant yellow gem is linked with personal power, motivation and creativity. Many wearers and designers believe Citrine promotes emotional well-being, attracts prosperity and encourages positive communication.

Black onyx jewelry is frequently paired with Citrine to create an energetic balance—uniting grounding strength with uplifting brightness.

Citrine is strongly associated with the solar plexus chakra, the energetic center of personal power, confidence and clarity. In chakra traditions, chakras are believed to be spinning energy centers within the body that influence emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. Each chakra corresponds to a specific area and color—Citrine’s warm yellow resonates with the solar plexus chakra, believed to energize and clear blockages in this area."

"For a sense of the spiritual value of jade, look into the face of a great carved Buddha. In that face is deep peace, balance and strength. Nephrite jade is believed to promote those qualities in its wearers. Nephrite jade meaning is linked to offering physical and emotional well-being, especially during unpleasant or difficult situations. Nephrite jade meaning is also linked to harmony and good fortune.

Of course, being named the stone of the kidneys, nephrite is believed to cure kidney stones."

As per crystalvaults.com, "Jade is said to bless whatever it touches, serving mankind across the globe for nearly 6,000 years. For primitive peoples in the British Isles, its toughness, and ability to polish and sharpen made it a favored stone for axe heads, knives and weapons. Indigenous tribes of Mexico, Central and South America, and New Zealand carved it into deity masks and ritual artifacts, even cast it into wells as an offering to the water spirits for fresh and plentiful water. Jade has been the most highly esteemed stone in China throughout recorded history, and was valued for its beauty and powers of healing and protection. An endless variety of gems, vessels, incense burners, beads, burial items and statues have been wondrously carved from Jade, as well as musical instruments and pendants inscribed with poetry. [Simmons, 210][Eason, 266, 268]

Jade is a powerful cleansing stone, enhancing the body’s filtration and elimination organs. It is excellent for treating the kidneys, spleen and supra-adrenal glands, removing toxins and balancing the fluids and water-salt/acid-alkaline ratios in the body. [Hall, 152][Gienger, 50]

It is helpful to the bones and joints, especially the hips, and for treating bacterial and viral infections, cystitis and genito-urinary infections, and bedwetting. [Eason, 266]

Jade has a restorative property, allowing for both the cellular and skeletal systems to re-bind themselves, and assists in the removal of pain associated with the body’s healing of itself. Jade also helps stitches to bind and heal properly, and has been used to diminish cramps and “Charlie horses.” [Hall, 152][Melody, 343] Imperial Jade is particularly useful in healing after plastic surgery or reconstructive surgery caused by a disfiguring illness or injury. [Eason, 265]

Jade is thought to treat reproductive disorders, especially male, and assist during childbirth. [Hall, 152][Melody, 343] Jade may also be used to help teenage girls with anorexia, and for mothers who are afraid of not knowing how to parent their children. [Megemont, 98-99]

Jade is a “dream stone,” releasing negative thoughts and irritability and soothing the mind. It stabilizes the personality, integrating mind with body, to stimulate ideas and make tasks less complex and easier to act upon. Placed on the forehead, it brings insightful dreams. [Hall, 152] Jade improves one’s remembering of dreams and releases suppressed emotions via the dream process. [Melody, 341]

Jade relinquishes self-imposed limitations and assists in cherishing one’s ideals and desires, facilitating the ambition and building of those thoughts into physical reality. Jade provides confidence and self-assuredness, self-reliance and self-sufficiency. [Melody, 341-342]"

Also, according to firemountaingems.com, "Called the stone of Venus, Chrysoprase is the rarest and most valuable rich apple-green gemstone in the chalcedony family and was often mistaken for emeralds by ancient jewelers. Unlike emeralds, which owe their color to the presence of chromium, the bright spring green of Chrysoprase is a result of trace amounts of nickel.

Chrysoprase was used by the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians to make seals, signets, jewelry and other ornamental objects because of its vivid color. The modern word comes from the literal Greek translation chrusos, meaning golden, and prason, meaning leek, indicating the golden-leek green color of the stone.

Alexander III, an ancient Greek king of Macedonia, was one of the most successful, undefeated military commanders in Greek history. A strange story regarding a Chrysoprase stone reputed to have been worn by Alexander is related by a Dominican friar named Albertus Magnus.

According to Magnus, Alexander always wore a girdle into battle that was embedded with a bright Chrysoprase stone. On his return from a successful campaign in India, he laid aside his girdle to bathe in the Euphrates River. While the girdle lay unattended, a serpent came and bit off the stone and dropped it into the water. Alexander III didn't win another campaign after losing this precious talisman.

After the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamen in the early 1920s, the well-known Art Nouveau period, which celebrated exotic sensuality and romanticism, came to life in prolific glory. Chrysoprase was used extensively during this Nouveau era with Egyptian revival jewelry that mimicked the vast treasures of the newly discovered pharaoh's tomb.

Chrysoprase is one of the birthstones for May and has traditionally symbolized happiness, enterprise and prudence. It is a powerful stone that brings good fortune and prosperity. Chrysoprase properties include instilling you with poise and grace and helping you to recognize the gentle beauty within yourself so you can enjoy self-expression and courage through fluent speech and mental dexterity.

Mentally, Chrysoprase encourages non-judgmental attitudes, can reduce superiority and inferiority complexes and can help you avoid speaking out unthinkingly in anger. It bolsters clarity of thought and creativity by attracting abundance and success in new ventures and promotes fidelity within business.

Emotionally, Chrysoprase is said to help heal a broken heart by providing a gentle boost to your self-esteem, equalizing emotional balance and fostering acceptance of change and tolerance for others."

Honestly, I had no idea that there was so much amazing potential in these gemstones before I made Daffodils 3! I'm excited to offer this lovely necklace and I know the person who really needs it will find it!
