Cloudy With a Chance of Blue Skies 3 strand necklace

$179.95

Cloudy With a Chance of Blue Skies is a 3 strand necklace that is my gemstone beaded version of the amazing New Mexico skies! I used Cultured white Fresh Water Pearls, Delica Glass spacer beads, Iolite facets and rounds and Sodalite 2mm and 6mm rounds, The colors of the Sodalite range from milky white to deep navy blue and really represent the varied colors of the sky.

The short strand is 17 inches and the longest one is 20 1/4 inches. I love how the white pearls represent the clouds! The clasp is a Sterling Silver fancy oval toggle.

Pearls are June's birthstone and are a favorite for millions of us! As per crystaldigest.com, "The crystal Pearl is said to be a symbol of purity, innocence, and faith. It is said to have metaphysical properties that can help to boost the immune system, protect against negative energies, and promote spiritual growth. The Pearl is also said to be helpful in promoting fertility and easing the birthing process. Pearl necklaces are thought to be timeless and have been in vogue for decades.

The color of a Pearl can have different meanings. White pearls are said to represent purity and innocence, while black Pearls are said to represent wisdom and experience. Pink Pearls are said to represent love and compassion, while blue Pearls are said to represent peace and tranquility.

The freshwater pearls on the market typically originate in China, whereas saltwater pearls primarily come from Australia, French Polynesia, and Japan. Pearls form from small round grains of sand within pearl-bearing mollusks (such as an oyster or a sea mussel). These are typically harvested through pearl diving where people swim down to collect these precious oysters.

Pearls have been treasured by humans for centuries, and for good reason. Not only are they beautiful to look at, but they also have a wide range of metaphysical and physical benefits. Pearls can be used to promote mental clarity, attract wealth, increase fertility, and much more. In addition, pearls are said to be helpful in treating a wide range of ailments, including digestive problems, joint pain, and respiratory issues.

The pearl is the answer if you’re looking for a gemstone that can do it all."

"Iolite is a stone used to explore the inner workings of the mind, heart, and soul. According to legends, slabs of iolite stones are used by Vikings to determine the sun’s direction, especially during overcast days. During those days, navigation is quite difficult. However, the use of iolite helps in reducing glare and knowing the direction of the sun’s polarization. Hence, iolite was called the “Vikings’ Compass” as it helps sailors determine the right way to go in the vast, unfathomable seas.

Known for its purple and blue hues, Iolite is usually compared to more famous blue gems like blue sapphire and tanzanite for its brilliance and color. This is particularly true for deep blue stones, which can be used as a more affordable alternative to sapphire and Tanzanite.

In addition to that, Iolite exhibits pleochroism, a phenomenon where crystals exhibit different colors when viewed from different angles. As such, Iolite is also called “water sapphire” and “dichroite”, which means “two-colored rock” in Greek."

According to firemountaingems.com, "Sodalite is sometimes considered a guardian for heroes and heroines, especially those speaking truth to power. It's believed to have the ability to unite logic with intuition and the drive for truth with the rise of idealism. Practitioners have used Sodalite to organize the mind, as it's said to promote rational thought, objectivity and perception. It is sometimes thought to cleanse lymph nodes and boost the immune system. All these balancing abilities are why Sodalite is often used in groups with other stones and among multiple users. Sodalite is assigned to the western astrological sign Sagittarius. In feng shui, it is thought to possess water energy."

All of the gemstones in the blue family are thought to aid with communications and help the wearer to Speak Their Truth!
