I made Twin Mesas bracelet to match my Twin Mesas 3 strand necklace, now available from www.ventanafinearts.com. That necklace was designed around a pair of earrings made by a Santo Domingo Pueblo jeweler. I turned those earrings into the focal pendants of the necklace.

I used Black Obsidian, Red Jasper, Turquoise, White Coral and a Sterling Silver toggle clasp. This bracelet is 7 inches long. Turquoise is the birthstone for December.

I learned also that Turquoise is thought to bring the wisdom of the ancient ones to those who where this gemstone.

This color combination is prevalent in many of the creations of Native American artists. To me, this combination pays respects to all the creatives who have roots in Native American heritage.
